How and where do I work? 

I offer both online and in person (face to face) sessions. I currently offer face to face sessions in Hendon, North London on Mondays and Tuesdays and in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire on Thursdays. Online sessions are offered throughout the week. 

All therapies, including EMDR therapy, can be offered online and I have found this does not impact on the therapeutic benefit of the session. Session type is your choice however is dependent on availability. 

Please contact me at lucy@proactivepsychology.co.uk to enquire about current availability. You will be added to a waitlist if your preferred session time and location is not available. 

 

What to expect 

After you have made initial contact either by telephone or email (please see contact us section), I will arrange to contact you back so we can have an initial telephone conversation about why you are seeking therapy. I will ask you about this and also gather some initial information.  

I will then email you back with confirmation of our conversation and with the agreed session time or more information about availability and session location. I will also ask you to complete a client agreement form prior to the first session. 

The first session will be an assessment and information session, where I will ask you for more information about your current difficulties and also other relevant information about yourself and your history. I can also give you further information on the therapies that I work with and will also answer any questions you may have. If you are happy to proceed after this session, then we will confirm a regular session time. 

Businesses and Companies

We offer tailored mental health awareness training packages to cater to both individual and group needs. Whether it's for a specific individual concern or a broader company requirement, our bespoke programs are designed to effectively address and support mental well-being in the workplace.

Fees and Cancellation 

My self–pay fee is £120 per session. Each session is fifty-five minutes long. You will be sent an invoice following the session and I kindly request payment within 24 hours of the session.

 

I am also covered by the major health insurance providers (BUPA, AXA, Vitality, Freedom etc.). Please check if you are unsure about whether I am covered by your insurer. 

I do ask clients to kindly let me know if they need to cancel the session within 24 hours of the session time. If I do not receive this notice, then the session fee will be charged. I understand that on occasion there are extenuating circumstances and therefore would please ask if you can inform me of the reason for cancellation.
